  • The odds are against it. You can get food poisoning from anything that has e-coli or other bad bacteria, pathogens or viruses on it, but IMO the likelihood of getting it from nuts is pretty slim.
  • I just posted this one which is very quick and easy: http://goneraw.com/recipes/2693-Asian-Mung-Bean…

  • I read in a couple places that you shouldn’t sprout almonds more than two days because they might go rancid. How do almond trees ever get started?

  • It was at least three solid months of raw until my consciousness fully recognized raw as the “real” food and cooked food as something much less appealing.
  • choctastic, I’m so glad to hear it. I wish I had discovered raw when I was younger. I’m in my mid-forties, and now I’m going through menopause, so I don’t have periods any more, but when I did, they were just as you described, sheer, unbearable pain…
  • Sure, either way, you can buy them. They’re raw. I just like to sprout them myself.

  • I eat more kale than anything else, my favorite is Lacinto kale, but I also love arugula and good, old fashion spinach! Oh and parsley, mmmmm.
  • What an incredible feeling, Isis!! I remember how I felt on day 9 of my first cleanse just having one more day. The anticipation must be tripled for you. You’ve done a great job, and you’ve done tons of good for yourself. Congrats! I have more energ…
  • Isis, what an exciting cleanse you’ve had. Wow! You got rid of gallstones!! Good for you. Hip hip hurray! Every cleanse or fast I’ve been on has been different. Last MC cleanse I did, I was supercharged. I was exercising every day. This time, I’m sl…
  • Hi everyone, Thanks for the support. It’s so nice to hear from you guys. Marysia, it’s hard to predict how the bathroom thing will go. When I did my first master cleanse, I was doing the swf, and I didn’t have a strong response. I wasn’t running to …
  • Day #3 Another good day. I am very slightly weak. I slept very long and soundly last night which was a gift. Is anyone else out there?
  • Day #2 is coming to a end. Is anyone else going to check in? My day has been good. I went out for a four hour stretch without any lemonade, and I started getting really hungry, but aside from that, I wasn’t hungry all day. My senses are acute, and I…
  • So today is the start of day #2 for me. Last night I woke up at 1:30 in the morning uncomfortable with cramps. I went to the bathroom and had some very big eliminations. I’m not doing the salt water flush. I’m doing the smooth move tea twice day, so…
  • Hi culinarydiva, The Master cleanse is a lenonade diet that one embarks upon for at least 10 days. The lemonade consists of lemon juice, grade b maple syrup and cayenne pepper. There’s a short book all about it, and I’d encourage you to read first. …
  • My first day on the MC has gone well. I’ve had a lot of energy, as usual. I drank 4 quarts of lemonade. I had a Smooth Move tea in the morning and I’m having another cup now. Believe it or not, I have a lot of fun with food preparation when I’m on t…

  • Stacy, I’ve been on the master cleanse once before for 10 days, and I’ve been on 3 day juice fasts aside from being on a very detoxifying raw diet for 7 months straight without any nuts or oils. To tell the truth, the white film on my tongue never c…

  • Tinkerbelly, The only times during the cleanse that I “juiced” was juicing lemons for the lemonade and after the cleanse was over I transitioned with orange juice for two days. A lot of people skip the salt water flush and do Smooth Move tea instea…
