  • Yup, got that email too…..if I copy and paste something, I usually say so and give credit to where credit is due.
  • Hi omshanti – yes I enjoyed the debate. I wrote more on the new debate thread. I think Obama is a very gifted speaker and incredibly smart man. He’s not perfect but I’d like to give him a chance at the presidency. Another 4 years of the Bush/McCain …
  • Izhpt – thanks! I signed up and they sent me the link too. I like how you use sunflower seeds in lieu of cashews. iheartveggies – my hubby wanted pesto so I got enough basil to try Bitt’s and also Poemomm’s who uses nutritional yeast. QUESTION FOR P…
  • Izhpt – I can’t seem to find the sauce on therawdessert, perhaps I need to sign up. How much red pepper do you use? I’ll also look up the pesto in Alissa’s book! :-)
  • Oh thank you Izhpt! That looks really good!! I was also looking at Poemomm’s recipes and saw this which looks yummy as well. She uses nutritional yeast in lieu of the parmesan cheese http://www.goneraw.com/recipes/5458-Pasta-Pesto…
  • Carrie6292 – last winter I made this raw recipe using sweet potato. It was good but I think it could be tweaked a bit to make it excellent (I cut way back on the garlic). This might be worth a try. http://www.goneraw.com/recipes/2527-garshbrowns… Oh…

  • Thanks for the kind words RawKidChef. I was listening to NPR/VPR this morning about all the college students camping out overnight in the rain to vote early for Obama. I was so happy and impressed by these young adults! Very inspiring and a great wa…
  • Thanks Rawkidchef. To be honest I didn’t expect many people to donate, but was hoping more folks would have checked it out for the upcoming election. (I guess personal soundtracks are more interesting) Hopefully Californians will vote yes on Prop 2.…
  • I have to say that I am a bit sad that only 77 people out of 7,000+ of members have even viewed this thread. I feel a bit like a minority being a big animal lover and passionate about animal rights here on goneraw. I felt that on a vegan website, mo…
  • I actually sent the information to see if the company I work for wanted to help since it likes to associate it’s name with good causes….not sure if anything can be done though…
