  • I think a dehydrator makes transitioning easier. That’s what I’ve heard anyway. I wouldn’t know as I don’t have one. I reeeeaally want one though.
  • I’m not ashamed of it or anything, it just hasn’t really come up very much yet. I don’t eat around other people very often, and since I’m not quite 100%, no one has really noticed.
  • yeah, I got great enough responses when I said I was vegetarian..I can’t imagine RAW vegan! One kid was like, if you don’t eat meat how are you so tall? I just laugh. It’s hilarious(and sad) the things people believe. I don’t really care what people…
  • Wow, that’s so great! I wish my family would get into it like that. They are all on the unhealthy side in some way. My mom is obese, my dad’s getting older and although he ate raw before is not anymore and has rather poor eating habits, my brother e…
  • Yeah, in the Bible not eating meat is encouraged rather than condemned. God gave us a diet originally, I guess, my dad knows all about it. Anyway, it was all veggies and fruits and nuts and seeds and grains, then if we had to we could have stuff lik…
  • I usually do this: http://goneraw.com/recipes/3138-Yummy-Green-Drink I never quite measure or anything, but it turns out great almost every time. Sometimes I add more apple, though. All the ingredients are just as much of each as you want to put in,…
  • Yeah, sometimes you just gotta do the best you can. If that means that your produce isn’t always organic or whatever then that’s just what it is. Just my 2 cents. (:
  • Hey, I just wanted to say to everyone doing the cleanse….never quit it, no matter how bad you feel. It is all worth it in the end. When you get past those 10 days, it’s the best feeling ever! I’ve done 2 and I don’t regret it. It wasn’t as hard as i…
  • Oh and best of luck!!! It can get hard at times, but you just have to get past it. It’s so worth it in the end. cheers!
  • I have done two so far. The first one was amazing, the second, not so much. I didn’t do the salt the first time around. The second time I felt like it made me heavy and bloated and not at all cleansed feeling. Nothing against the salt, I just didn’t…
  • rawbeginner-Yes, healthy and flourishing! It’s the only way to go. Thank you for your kind words. Hey Claire. I know what you mean about binging and then hating yourself. You feel like a complete failure..why should I live? I just stuffed two day’s …
  • Wow, I can so relate. Let me share my story. I was just what you described until a little while ago. I would eat tons of food one day, then work out a ton and hardly eat. Very rarely I would throw it up. I just recently woke up and started on the ro…
  • Oh, I just made the mango cheescake on this website, by cheflandria, I think…wow that was amazing! It’s not that it was so much like cheescake as much as it was that is was just soooo good!!! You could hardly tell it was raw. My dad was like, “Are y…
  • Oh, and most people get way too much protein. Not getting enough is never a concern unless you just aren’t eating at all.
  • Ok. Don’t worry about protein. You get plenty without even trying. You see, protein is made up of amino acids. Those amino acids are found in their natural state in plant foods. When we eat animal protein, our bodies have to break it down into those…
  • I think you mean benign, lol. But I’m thinking bananas, coconut, avocado, all good suggestions. What about seeds?
  • Yeah, just do it. As long as you’ve read the book I don’t see why not.
  • lol, klomasius, I’ve been blueberry picking too. So fun (: Yeah, you guys, blueberries are amazing!
  • Wow, that’s crazy. I’ve never heard of it, but it’s not surprising.

  • Yeah, I have heard alot of bad about soy lately. I never really knew much about it, but I never thought it was bad. I guess it’s worse than I thought. Thanks for informing me.(:

  • I really don’t think it’s that bad. I have never had any bad experiences with it either. Obviously not a raw product, but it’s not like it’s some kind of alien food source or toxic waste like some people say. Not to be controversial, but really, it’…

  • Yeah, it was sad to be gone! Thank for the fix!!! It works great now.
  • I have heard that ACV works, too. It does make you smell not so good though. I used to have really bad dandruff, but it has sort of gone away recently. I hope you can get rid of yours!
