  • Ray~ There seemed to be some quirks with Safari that I couldn’t figure out so I switched to Firefox. Seems to be working ok. I do miss some of the neat features that Safari has.
  • Ray~ I started using Safari… pretty cool! One thing though… How do I increase the displaying of a webpage? Currently, a webpage takes up about 1/2 of the window. I tried to increase font size, but the formats of some pages get funky… Other than that…
  • Ray~ Thank you. The editting box issues have been fixed! The white/green edit box only displays after clicking on REPLY TO TOPIC and then closes after clicking on Save Reply botton. Also, the Edit link in a post works again. The Recipe tab issue is …
  • More weirdness… I tried to search for a recipe on the Recipe tab and I got a file download/security warning box that was prompting me if I wanted to download ajax_search7b19edb5. This doesn’t happen with the recipe search on the Home tab.
  • I just posted the message above and the green/white edit box is still displaying… Seems like there isn’t a “close edit box” command after the Save Reply…
  • Thankx Ray~ There seems to be an additional quirk… When I log in and go to a thread, the green and white editting box at the bottom of the page is there without clicking on REPLY TO TOPIC button. A few questions about moving to Foxfire (I’ve never h…
  • Ray~ For the past few days I have not been able to edit a post. This is what happens… I start a new post and click Save Reply button. Click Edit in the post. An whole new edit page displays that is not the usual lower window when entering a new pos…
  • To add to the discussion about sugar feeding cancer and other disease states… this is what has been shown for refined sugar such as table sugar, corn syrup (w/ or w/o “high fructose” which is just adding good stuff to a “mud pie”... still have a mud…
  • kevin7197~ Your picture cracks me up every time I see it. It reminds me of Nathan Lane or Eddie Izzard (sp?). Though you might look nothing like them when you aren’t sticking out your tongue. :p
  • Try at places that sell water. You might even be able to get a 2 gallon glass bottle there that you can invert into a porceline crock with a spigot.
  • Wow! That’s an adventurous move. What is the motivation to move to Iceland?
  • You might be able to get a free one through www.freecycle.org for your area.
  • Are you looking for one that is for municiple water (treated) or for non-treated water like river and such? If you are looking for one for filtering treated water, feel free to email me.

  • Luna blu~ Sorry to hear you have a cold. Feel better soon. Some of the “rituals” that I do when I have a cold (rare) are: lots of Throat Coat Herbal tea by Traditional Medicinals, it has a hint of sweet so I don’t add additional sweetening. I eat…
  • Even though I too look for “hard evidence”, use the studies as a guide and not the “truth.” As Paul Harvey has said… and the rest of the story… To really understand about studies, one needs to really look into the methodology. There are so many vari…

  • Thank you! Y’all have inspired me to dust off a rebounder I have in the garage…. oh, and start using it. I can use some good lymph flushing and the rest. :) Anyone have any suggestions for a good rebounder workout DVD?
  • Jesusgirl~ My privilege. Keep exploring the website, asking questions, and paying it forward. :)
  • Jesusgirl~ Each tummy is different. :) For some they can eat tons of nuts and they are happy as a clam. Others, if they even sniff a nut they are an unhappy camper. Drinking lots of water is a good thing especially if you have some tummy upset… flus…
  • I’ve spiralized parsnips. I mixed them with sweet potato to make an orange and white mixture. It was good. I’ve also done carrots and cucumbers (separately, not mixed). I love carrots in general, so spiralizing makes them fun to eat. I wonder if egg…
  • wclaire~ I think part of the creaminess comes from the “churning” (adding air) of the ice cream. When you let it set, it has a chance to separate and also to create the harden structure that makes it popcycly (is that a word?). I think that is why t…
  • Suggestion… chunk up the leftovers and put them in a blender and whiz away to make it creamy again. You might need to add a little liquid or something like banana to make it creamy. Or, use the leftovers for the base of a smoothie. Enjoy.
  • For info on detoxing, goto Detoxing/Cleansing/Correcting Response. Some other possibilities: Have you changed your cloths detergent or body soap or worn something someone else washed (allergy)? In the past (or present) have you had eczema, psoriasis…
  • I think the thinner the coating of oil the better for crispiness. Try putting a bit of olive oil (or whatever oil you are using) in a small spritz/mister bottle and spritzing the chips.
  • Would y’all be so kind as to post a link to a picture of the tools y’all are mentioning. They all sound really interesting. I’m probably not alone in wanting to check them out. Thankx. 8)
  • My previlege… I have read that limes effect the enamel of teeth if used frequently. Most likely someone will comment about using a straw is bad in some way. LOL It’s all a trade off. :)

  • It may sound funny… but use a straw when drinking anything that is effecting teeth. This way it bypasses the teeth… Happy drinking…

  • monale~ My previlege. Happy nut milking. 8)
  • Check out your local paint or hardware store for nylon paint strainer/filter bags. They are much cheaper and work just as well as a nut bag. Just wash the bag with soapy water and rinse well before using.
  • Paint strainer bags are sturdier than pantyhose and aren’t dyed. I can barely get more than one use out of pantyhose, let alone trying to squeeze the crap out of one. 8)
  • Putting aside issues of dairy animals being injected with hormones and antibiotics that shows up in their milk… many adults are lactose (a milk sugar) intolerant. Our bodies were not meant to consume a product (milk) that has all the life sustaining…
