google chia seeds and you will find tons of info on this amazing, nutritios seed. i often grind them and put them in anything- dehydrated crackers, burgers, salad dressing etc. also- if you soak them in water about 1 part seeds to 10 or more parts water, they absorb the water and become a gel that you can then add to stuff or even eat plain each day. you can also sprinkle them on anything and eat plain. :)
Thanks stillfire, I’ll check it out and will try soaking them again. Is there a certain amount we are supposed to eat per day? I’ll google them now…
yeah- you’ll find it by googling…i think maybe a couple of tablespoons.
I have always just put them in water and drank them…they are good for regulating blood sugars.
Hi I just googled these and I didn’t realize how amazing they are. It would be neat to try to add them to the english muffin and omlette type breakfast to start the day off right. I wonder if you could make jello out of it. Also it seems like it would be a great thing to take on a camping trip as they don’t go rancid and don’t need grinding.
english muffin and omelette? do you have a raw recipe for these???

Here is the omlette recipe, and the english muffin, http://www.goneraw.com/recipes/1295-Amazing-Eng…,
I would also recommend the bacon: http://www.goneraw.com/recipes/418-Raw-Bacon-
I wouldn’t recommend using as much oil in the recipe- just dab a little on and use your favorite spices. YUM!
