I like grapeseed oil as a moisturizer, but will sometimes use coconut oil for really dry skin. As far as eating coconut oil goes, its also been strongly argued that heating it over a certain temperature denatures its structure and turns it into a super-saturated fat. Virgin coconut oil is good since its not heat-extracted.
Coconut oil is an amazing food/moisturiser. I make a cream out of cocoa butter, coconut oil, almond/grapeseed oil, and some essential oils. Coconut oil also helps repair damage from the sun and repair the skin’s collagen. I use cocoa butter from Aura cacia,,it is very soothing and moisturizing and smells awesome!!!!
