She’s gorgeous!
Yes, beautiful doggy you got there! What a cutie.
What a beauty!!
She’s so beautiful!!
Thanks! She is why I got back into raw! Kibble, even the very best never agreed with her, so i stated her on raw. Before raw she had a lot of intestinal upsets, now on raw, perfect poops! Thank goodness!
I may rotate a few other pics of her looking more like the majestic Shiloh Sheperd she is. I also may put in a few of her looking really dorky for a laugh!!! ;)
Elaina, is that a pic of your dog? He/she is cute!
carmentina, I have a kitty that looks just like yours as well. his name is Sylvester. how original eh?
Well then, maybe I’ll have to add my kitties to my pic! We’ll know eachother by pets, haha.
woof!
i’ll show off my baby too! this is her puppy picture, she’s a japanese chin
stylistchick, how big is she now? HOW CUTE!!!
How cute everyone’s pets are!! I have a little blue point siamese kitten named Apple (she’s an apple-head siamese cat) that I’ll post a picture of too! She’s cuddling in a ball on my down coat right now :)
Luna blu – she’s beautiful, I love the white. Can you explain to me what an avatar is, in the way that you use it? I tried looking online and saw that it’s something Hindu, but couldn’t really understand it. Thanks!
Avatar is referring to the picture that represents you! Nothin crazy or anything.
I think it is sort of from the Hindu religion. An avatar is an earthy representative of God. I think I got that right! So your picture, represents you. So as i say to my husband, my avatar represents a Goddess, ME! :)
In other words, that may be where the use of the word came from.
There’s a kids cartoon called “Avatar: The Last Airbender” that’s about a Japanese (??) monk boy who is learning to “bend” or control the four elements to save the world. Water, earth fire, air. Pretty cool show.
Sweet doggie, Luna! :o)
Thanks jenergy!!
Hmmm, back to the avatar thingy, actually the Hindus use the word like incarnation. For example, Krishna, is the eighth avatar (incrnation) of the God Vishnu, and is worshipped as a god himself. But in the English lingo, it is taken to mean a representative!
I find Hinduism quite interesting. I hope I am not freaking anyone out here!
Stylistchick, that is such a cute picture!!
Luna Blu, I forgot I had a pic of our family dog. :) She’s an Australian Shepherd. You’re not freaking me out, I find most religions interesting;
I find Hinduism fascinating, myself. And the artwork is just gorgeous. I’ve never known why, but on an instinctual level I’ve always been really drawn to Ganesh. I just think that fat elephant god with the broken tusk is sexy for some reason. I wanna give him a hug. Hehehe… ;o)
Stangely enough, I adore Shiva! I can see past the fact that he is the one who destroys the universe! He represents change and personal growth! The universe gets recreated anyway, noworries! I think Brahma (sp) is responsible for that one! Vishnu being the preserver!
Luna, you’ve rekindled my interest. I’m going to do some googling on hinduism today for kicks. This kind of thing is why I think the internet is the coolest thing ever. Got a question? Need an idea or a picture or a phone number? Look it up! I’ve always been an instant-gratification kinda girl. ;o)
Funny jenergy, Ganesh is the son of Shiva!
Here is a cute fable, myth, thingy. If I remember correctly, Ganeshes brother and himself asked their parents who was their favorite childl Theydid not want to pick favorites they said, so they challenged the two, that who ever could circle the world 3 times the fastest would be their fave. So a race! So they say go, and the other brother takes off away, and Ganesh walks slowly around his paretns three timess. Obviously winning! His folks were the world to him! How cute. now you probably like him even more!
Oh I love that! So he’s sweet AND sly. Hehe…
I thought you would like it! I thought it was so sweet! Or you could say he is a smartass brown noser!
Hey, I changed it again. I was feeling guilty that I wasn’t showing off my handsome boy, Sylvester. (original name eh, bet you never thought of naming a black and white cate that! ;)
This picture makes my first post on thes topic sound mental! I will change it back eventually. But my guy should have some time in the spotlight!!
Ha! I was just going to say. Am i nuts? This is a CAT! Here’s Tika, our latest adoptee—full grown chihuahua/beagle mix full of sass!
I’ll change it back so you can see my dog too! i should get a pic of the two of them! HA HA HA. The dog really wants to be the cats friend, the cat, not so much!
i had to get in on this one. the little critter in my avatar is oreo cookie, a black and silver miniature schnauzer who gets away with hell by being the cutest thing we have ever seen. he’s 1.5 years old now, and will eat anything in site, paper, plastic or metal included!
Thanks for the info Luna blu! Sweet family you have.
Thanks, you should see my husband! ;) Since we are posting pictures of our pets, maybe he’ll be next! :)
lalala, i also have a mini schnauzer and i saw your little guy and thought—oh a baby! He’s so cute. Ours is named Fritz.
oh can i brag to? these are my boys, derby(blenheim) and rugby(tricolor) Derby is the older at 4 years of age and rugs is 3 now…so funny he is still the puppy in my eyes..they are cavalier king charles spaniels. Ive never had purebreds before but when i lost my russel and my sweet doberman cross i desided to get a purebred that id always admired….next time around its back to the pound for me…these guys sure light up my life though!
