slimy buckwheat is normal, just rinse it until the water is clear..i only soak my buckwheat for about 6hrs and then rinse it. it’s ready to make bread(which i use it for)in a day and half..
I use a giant strainer and a big bowl to rinse and then sprout the buckwheat. I put a plate over the top to sprout.
chefraw16, can you post your recipe for bread using buckwheat. I am still searching for a sub for reg. bread to put in my son’s lunch. Thanks!
