  • I wonder if you stirred in a tbsp of chia seeds, or flax, if that would work- by making it gel a bit. Chia is really flavourless, and I even though your hummus wouldn't be totally smooth, I kind of like the texture of chia.
  • I like to use banana and lemon as a dressing- one banana and half a lemon in the vitamix. It goes good on any salad, even a savory one. I like the creamy texture.
  • I hadn't thought about beano not being vegan, however there is something called bean-zyme that is. It aparently contains an enzyme which helps break down the starches etc. in foods like brocolli. Just in case anyone is wondering!
  • How do you all feel about taking beano to help digest the brocolli?
  • Thankyou, rawisbeauty. I did find that very helpful. There is a lot more protein, fats, and iron in oats than I had thought. Also in the parsley juice. Obviously the protein/ nutrient content is not an issue!

  • I like the irish moss idea, daniefon. However, I don't know where to get that in Canada. What would be a good brand, or a good online store that I could google about irish moss? Thanks!
