I've been shopping around for a food processor (already have a L'Equip Dehydrator, decent mandoline, and a Vita-Mix); partly to ease the load on my Vita-Mix (I use it 1-2 times a day for smoothies), and to more efficiently grind things. I've never been very good at using the VM to chop/grind things. Nut butters, no problem. I just can't get dry ground nuts. The VM will always be my #1 smoothie machine . . . but for smaller amounts and nuts I just can't seem to get it to work. I'm done experimenting with it, and going to just get something that is easier to use for what I need.

I saw the Ninja at Wal-Mart, and have been doing a little review reading today on Amazon and QVC. It looks pretty awesome . . . I just want to be able to grind things better than the VM lets me. From what the reviews say it looks like it's really easy to clean, and really processes things efficiently. And I like the fact that it can shave ice so well (the kids will love that come summertime.)
So, I want to know if anyone here has a Ninja, and if so, how do you like it?
