Magic Bullet for Green Smoothies?

AVLAVL Raw Newbie

Does anyone use a Magic Bullet to make green smoothies? If so, does it blend greens, so it doesn't leave any partially blended leaves? Does it blend the greens completely, like a VitaMix, so there are no particles?

  • I tried this once. It was an orange/spinach smoothie, and it didn't do so well with the orange (it was a bit stringy...).

As far as greens, I don't think anything compares to a high-speed blender, but my Bullet did alright.

my magic bullet just died...*sigh*.... it's a great little kitchen toy but sadly a short life span for the demands of a raw dieter...

Yes, you can use a Magic Bullet to make green smoothies, but it may not blend leafy greens as smoothly as a high-powered blender like a Vitamix. It works fine for soft ingredients and small portions, but sometimes it leaves small bits of greens like spinach or kale. If you're looking for a very smooth texture, especially for kids or picky drinkers, you might need to blend a little longer or use softer greens. I often use the Magic Bullet when I’m in a rush, just like when I quickly clean my labubu dolls with care and detail.
