Storing Unsprouted Sprouts

I just got my first pounds of sprouts weeks ago. I have never sprouted (only germinated)... and I still haven’t tried sprouting… so, I’m wondering how long unsprouted sprouts can be stored for before they don’t sprout much. I keep mine in my kitchen cabinets… is that okay for storing them longterm?

I have mine in both the freezer and also mason type jars and any type of sealed glass jars (that have the flippy top lids that seal) in the cupboards. I like to only keep enough in the cupboard that will last about 1-2 months, putting the rest in the freezer, but ALL of my nuts and seeds (like sunflower, sesame seeds) are in the freezer because they’ll go rancid.

Thanks for the advice… I’m going to freeze mine now! I had no idea… and just saw them as lasting “forever”. Thanks, rawmama.
