Substitutions

I have many food allergies and sensitivities. A couple of the most common ingredients that I can not eat are Bananas, sunflower seeds, cashews, agave, dates, apples, macadamia, ginger, onion, maple, psyllium.  What can I substitute these items with? Thank You!

    You could try cinnamon, cloves or fennel in place of ginger in sweet recipes - depending on the recipe. 

    A bit of garlic in place of onion. 

    Walnuts in place of some nuts and seeds.

    Pears instead of apples. 

    The possibilities are endless!

    You can use fresh squeezed or juiced fruit juices in place of a lot of sweeteners too.
