Buckwheat digestion issues

So, I recently returned to eating raw after an omni diet.  I was raw vegan for many years. I am trying to follow the 80/10/10 formula and think buckwheat would add variety, texture appeal, etc.  My problem with buckwheat, historically is that it gives me terrible gas.  I'm wondering if I'm not preparing it correctly.  I would generally soak it until it sprouted and then dehydrate it for a good four hours...then mix with truly raw agave, ginger and cinnamon....serve with homemade almond milk. Am I doing something wrong or is it simply not good for my constitution.  Anyone else have this problem?

    Sometimes combining foods can have bad results. I would try it on its own without the agave and cinnamon and see if it has the same effect on you. If it doesn't, then you should be able to find something different to mix it with.
