Craving Vinegar?

I find that I crave a lot of vinegar or pickled foods. Or rather, it was a lot of pickled foods at first (especially saurkraut) and now its vinegar…

Is vinegar raw? I know apple cider vinegar can be raw but i’m not sure if it has to be labeled raw or if it just naturally is…

Also, why would I be craving it? What beneficial qualities does vinegar have? I also tend to crave sweet foods (I have a huge sweet tooth) and I wonder if maybe my body is trying to stabilize its pH? But I actually don’t know if vinegar is acidic or alkaline. I thought acidic, but isn’t sugar acidic? I’ve been staying away from refined sugars but I have been using agave (both raw and not raw), maple syrup and eating fruits. I’ve been also consuming a lot of this one pudding recipe that has a ton of coconut in it and cocoa powder, maple syrup, agave. I made a big batch and I’ve just been picking at it. Would I crave vinegar as a result of too much sweet?
