Olives

I really love the raw green olives packed in the jar and I’m sure I’d like the black ones,too I just haven’t bought any yet. I was wondering how the sundried ones compare in taste to these types of olives. I’d hate to buy them and not be able to eat them! Any input on the ones you like best would be greatly appreciated.There are so many, it’s hard to decide which to try!

    Like green bell peppers, green olives are unripe so not really that good for you. We got some really raw sundried black olives and really liked them, but despite liking them alot, we never finished the bag, it’s still in the cupboard, neither me or Chris ever feel like eating them! We both thought they are subtle in flavour, but other people say they’re bitter. We didn’t find them bitter at all. Guess it is up to your own personal taste… you’ll have to splash out and see if you like them. If you marinate them the go just like the ones in the jar.

    I like to use marinated mushrooms instead anyway…I prefer the taste.
