Freeze Limes?

I think someone posted about freezing lemons. I have extra limes I want to freeze… but, not sure what to do. Peel them first? Cut them into wedges? Put them in whole? If they go in whole, I guess I have to thaw them out before peeling or squeezing them. Ideas anyone? Thanks!

  • Maybe think about what you mostly use limes for in recipes, and then do a combination of those to freeze (e.g. some juice, some wedges, some chunks etc.) ... I’d say do more of what you use more of. All will freeze well.
