EVOO Vs CO for skin moisturizing

Hi, everyone, I was curious which one is better as a moisturizer, extra virgin olive oil or virgin coconut oil? and, is it healthy to eat some virgin coconut oil? There are controversial research results about its health benefits, mainly based on its being saturated fat and I am really confused. Does anyone have an idea?

  • I like grapeseed oil as a moisturizer, but will sometimes use coconut oil for really dry skin. As far as eating coconut oil goes, its also been strongly argued that heating it over a certain temperature denatures its structure and turns it into a super-saturated fat. Virgin coconut oil is good since its not heat-extracted.

    Coconut oil is an amazing food/moisturiser. I make a cream out of cocoa butter, coconut oil, almond/grapeseed oil, and some essential oils. Coconut oil also helps repair damage from the sun and repair the skin’s collagen.   • I use cocoa butter from Aura cacia,,it is very soothing and moisturizing and smells awesome!!!!
