Hi kminty3, Do you have a masticating juicer (for example, we use the omega)? Unfortunately, you won’t get wheatgrass shots out of a centrifuge juicer.
I am growing my first batch of wheatgrass now. It’s 3 days old and looking good! I have a Jack Lalan centifugal type juicer and I’m hopeing that will do it. What kind of juicer do you have? Ann Wigamore’s Recipes for Longer Life says you can chew it to extract the juice but I don’t think that would taste to good.
Wheatgrass would kill my centrifugal juicer. I have a Greenstar 1000 which works fine for wheatgrass juicing. Don’t forget to let your kitties and pups nibble on some wheatgrass, too. They love it!
