ok, i have a question about buckwheat. i have two kinds, one has brown groats and the other light. is the brown groat buckwheat raw or not?


  • Try Sprouting it, then you’ll know for sure … Also make sure its organic

  • The brown one is likely toasted and called Kasha.

  • Could also be hulled buckwheat groats (white) or Unhulled buckwheat groats which is brown/black in color these are used to sprout for juicing. But Mocha is right try sprouting each to see if they arent cooked and dead yet!
