I bought half a kilo of cacao butter back in November but I haven

Is it actually going off? The use by date is often a bit too cautious. Are you keeping it in the fridge? Does it taste OK, Smell ok?
I have had a raw company send me free jars of nut and seed butters which were over the use by date, and they were fine for months!
