Ok, so I’m wondering… what can I do with beans and grains?
So far, I’m getting alittle weary of all the nuts! So, I started soaking, sprouting, then grinding (handy dandy coffee grinder) rye seeds, quinoa, and soon some others, and using them in breads and cookies (sub-ing half and half on occasion), and it really does turn out okay..
As for the beans, I make that hummus from garbonzo beans, and man.. I enjoy it!
I tried to do something with lentils, like curry and lemon.. and it tasted ok for a second.. but not really good enough to make again.
I was wondering if there was any kind of dip or soup or sauce that can be made with beans and taste good… like pintos or black eyed peas.. (I know kidneys and soy are toxic)
Any suggestions?

I LOVE black beans and pintos cooked but I don’t really like them sprouted although it has been a long time since I tried them sprouted and raw. Unfortunately they aren’t in my diet right now. I also really miss a great hot red lentil soup I used to make. It was 3/4 pureed so I might have a chance at making a raw version with sprouts of the lentils, hmmmmm.
