Here’s a little something that burns my bottom a little bit! The claim that you can eat raw foods to your hearts desire and not gain weight.
It’s all about how many calories you take in, and how many you expend.
Although all raw foods are extremely healthy, some are just loaded with calories, good calories, but calories none the less and if you don’t use em, you keep em! The body is so dang efficient, it stores those extra ‘medjool dates’ and ‘avocados’ (two of my favorite things) in your fat cells, just in case there is ever a famine! (not likely in this age of excess in North America)
So, as with any food, moderation is the key.
