Juicing barley grass

Hi everyone,

I just started juicing barley grass, which I had read has a slightly bitter taste compared to wheatgrass (which I grow too). Well, that seems like a major understatement now that I have tried some. I had not expected it to be quite so bitter. I was wondering does anyone have any suggestions to what I can add to the barley juice to make it taste more pleasant?

alot of people squeeze lemon into their wheat grass juice to improve taste , so prob work with bar .

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually tried that but I didn’t care for it with the barley grass (seemed to make it even more bitter). It’s great with wheatgrass juice though.

Get it down as quickly as you can and think the bitter is better for your liver!
