Hey – So, I’m from OC but I’m living out of state right now – I just barely went raw & I’m going home in a whiledoes anyone know of an awesome restaurant that’s raw in LA? Hopefully not in the valley?

I’m going home to see Wicked & want somewhere fun to eat afterwards…..

Hi, Sissy. If you’re on that part of town—try M Cafe on Melrose which is damn good—but parking is a drag. There’s also Raw Food Daily on La cienega—plus a few vegan places on Beverly in the Fairfax area.

If you come to the West Side—the Best Side—there are two great places on Main Street Santa Monica between Montana and Ocean Park. Good luck, and enjoy the play.

These are the average—Urth is a lot more expensive.

If you have some non-raw foodies in your group who may still be jonesing for grub—take ‘em to Ben N Jerry’s which is down the street from Rawvolution.

Oh, and the desserts at Raw are quite amazing.

the coconut cheesecake at juliano’s raw is beyond my dreams! i also love his take away packages of cookies. i have a sweet tooth and i miss santa monica terribly for options. check it out if you can.
