FYI The truth about Manna Bread

If anyone is curious about whether or not Manna Bread is raw, read the following letter from Natures Path:

Thank you for contacting us about our manna bread. We have 7 varieties including one that is wheat free (Whole Rye). See http://www.naturespath.com/products/breads

Cinnamon Date, Fruit and Nut, Carrot Raisin, Millet Rice, Multigrain, Rye, Sunseed.

The bread is made from sprouted whole grains and baked at a temperature higher than 120F. (about 335 – 350 degrees F.) The product is baked at a temperature lower than conventional bread but it is not a raw food. Precise temperatures and length of baking time is considered confidential recipe information.

  • Yeah, manna bread is just baked at low temperatures and is sprouted…..there’s nothing that special about it. Used to be kind of good, but then it gave me digestive problems and other things that you could probably say you wouldn’t prefer them. Btw, how DO you make a raw bread like manna bread?
