making tahini

I’ve been buying raw tahini but it cost about $10 for 2 cups so I decided to make my own but the recipe on here doesn’t say whether to use hulled or unhulled seeds, so I was wondering if anyone knew what kind to use or if it mattered? What kind of difference would it make? Thanks! =)
