it’s salty and spreadable….
it’s not raw, so adding it to your raw diet if you don’t use it already doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. it’s “living”, meaning that it’s been cooked and then cultured.
oh, and south river miso’s distinction is that it is unpasteurized.
i’ve tried it, it’s really good with rice… very strong flavor… a little goes a long way
