Quick question

The woman that’s going to sell her 2 little dehydrators to me says there’s an on off switch but no temp control, because it’s for making dried fruit and veggies and jerky… Should I just forget it? I want a dehydrator to make the breads and crackers, I wouldn’t be using it for fruits or veggies besides chips… I think I’ll save up for a Excalibur unless I can make breads in this kind. One is a 5 tier Westinghouse and the other is a 7 tier Ronco. Can I make breads and crackers in these? She told me the directions for dried fruit is 2 days… Thanks for your help!

I’ve had the cheaper dehydrators and they were fine at the time. However I wasn’t using them the way I use one now. An Excalibur is definately worth it!

ask her what the temp is though. even the excalibur HAS THE POTENTIAL to go past 155 degrees. you wouldn’t be making anything raw… just slower cooking it seems.
