I’m moving from Chicago, IL to Albany, NY for a few months. Any raw vegans living in that area that can recommend any good places to shop, go, information out there, etc.?

    I lived in Albany, NY for a very brief time. Unfortunately I was neither vegetarian nor raw while I was there so I don’t think I can help you much. Here are a few results I found via happycow.com. Maybe you’ll find some of them helpful?

    I believe that there is a Raw Deli in Woodstock. I'm in Central NY (Syracuse) and as far as I know, that is the closest restaurant. Or NYC... I wish i could help you out more. Good luck with your move - i hope you enjoy NY!

    no way, no how! there are places that serve vegan food but no strictly raw. little late on this reply, but just in case anyone looking to go to the capital of NY!! there is an excellent co-op called Honest Weight, and also my favorite farmers market saturday mornings in Troy. There are a ton of farms out there too. (i miss upstate!)
