I have glass casserole dishes with the plastic lids that go from oven to freezer, I don’t think the glass is a problem, it’s the quality of the lid and how tight it fits. I am not sure if a glass casserole with a glass lid would work well or not. You would have to try it on something inexpensive and see.

Be careful putting wet foods in a glass dish for freezing. Liquids expand and could crack the glass. Most glass freezer containers are actually pyrex which is more tolerant!

Glass is no problem frozen, just make sure it’s dry and most of all that any fluid contained is not hot or even warm (or it will crack). And yes, fluids do expand on freezing.
