i live by the beach and when the fog rolls in and humidity goes up the food in my old dehydrator starts to stink and mold – would an excaliber do the same thing? and i have heard one should use a thermometer with dehydrators to watch the heat level – i suspect the heat gets high in spots when things seem extra dry or crisp up

Hmmmm, I wonder if a Cabela Dehydrator will have this problem… (it has a door).
