Login Here Signup Here Signup using FacebookI am feeling deceived I wanted to trade in my beloved centrifugal Jack Lalanne for the supposed masticating master the CHAMPION… and I love it the whole put the pulp back in and juice it to crumbs is fantastic but by the time I juice say 10 carrots and 2 celery and a cuke… I’ve got soup and not juice cuz the darn thing heats it all up… and I have read just the opposite… I am on day 3 of my juice feast and a little pissed that I am drinking soup and not juice… I bought it used for 70 bucks… the owners didn’t use it but once so it was like brand new… comtemplating just buying a new blade for my Jack Lalane and just consigning the champion to ice cream and nut butters argh….

RAWAFROMMAMA - Why don’t you call Champion headquarters and ask to speak to a specialist and just tell them your situation. Tell them you really wanted a Champion because you heard it was such great quality but you couldn’t afford a new one. They may be able to give you some guidance or refurbish it at a reasonable price. rawafromama – I’ve had my Champion for a year and my juice is always warm….. no matter how fast or slow I juice. I just put ice in the bowl underneath – which I hate. I’ve wanted to buy a Greenstar but I guess I keep holding out for a Norwalk (which are so expensive I’ll never afford one!)
germin8 – I had read that awhile back and to be honest I just can’t force that much through that fast. I’ve had my husband and teenage boys attempt to juice that much and, at least with mine, we just can’t get that much juice in only 6 minutes. It’s crazy! And the way it works for me is that if we are pushing that fast it actually gets hotter. I don’t get it!
Good example that no one machine does it all.
just get a vitamix. I had nothing but trouble with all the millions of juicers I’ve had and then bought a vita-mix and it is like a treasure. So worththe money.
Thanks Aleta now I feel better I didnt have ice and just threw the cold pack in there I was so frustrated yeah i have done fast and slow it just heats it up…. I was so perturbed because thought it did the opposite… Gotta vitamix Rawkid but wouldnt want to juice with it doesnt extract the fiber… so the Twin Gear machine are the best eh argh… back to square one… just made a fantabulous V8 with my champion didnt mind the warmth for that one…
