So my fellow raw food bud learned of the newest raw food restaurant to open in Brooklyn near Park Slope- called Raw Star.
Excellent Food, Service, and Atmosphere!!
The head chef and creator branched out on his own having trained at Quintessence and Pure Food and Wine.
With dishes like the Raw tempeh with Tamarind sauce, curry plaintains, raw spinach pie with ginger sauce- there is no problem in the flavor or creative departments.
Note: Just be sure to ask if the dish you select contains cashews if you like me aim to avoid this non-raw and unhealthful ingredient.
And the best part is the prices are very reasonable- entrees cost at most 13.00 and include 1 side and 1 salad!!
