Are pickles fermented?

Are pickles a probiotic? Do they have the good bacteria that’s available in fermented foods like kimchi or sauerkraut?

I plan on buying Bubbie’s pickles, it’s a truly raw brand.

Hey Winona – we haven’t tried Bubbie’s they were discussed previously somewhere, we sometimes get a raw brand that says it is a fermented food (can’t remember the name), they also make sauerkraut. Must depend on the brand.
