Quinoa flakes

Today I found quinoa flakes in the Health Food Store and imagine they will be easy to use in Raw recioes with a little soaking- has anyone tried them? Thanks Kathy

hi… i remember a recipe used the quinoa flakes and someone commented that they are not raw…it was this recipe ... btw…i do use soaked and sprouted (red or white) quinoa all the time:) ... the flakes are steam rolled

I wonder why not since they are not toasted or cooked- just flaked. Does anyone know?

If u go to the recipe noted in message above, someone left a comment on the recipe page that they use very high heat to produce the flakes for some reason. The person also left a site that explains this process.
