Does anyone know of a “work for food” type of place in central MD? The money I make is quickly spent on the bare necessities these days, looking to find a place to work a few hours a week in exchange for produce, or very very cheap local produce. Not having much luck in this are ( between Baltimore and D.C) there is a lot in southern Maryland, but I can’t afford the gas to get there. oh… tried dumpster diving at the local grocery stores. Never find anything but boxes!

chicory there was a co-op in hereford up 83( by baltimore) near my old home, on yeoho or mt carmel rd…its been a few years since i lived there;0) google it maybe? then post a sign up at the local churches, grocery stores feed stores( for animals) and local mom and pop run conveinient stores with your needs, so many peple have gardens that are over flowing and would love to share… good luck!
