Lemon Dill Pickles

Concerning Lemon Dill Pickles posted by germin8. Do these pickles last as long as regular dill pickles. Figure they do, but don’t want to take a chance of getting sick.

  • I would like to know that too. I made them a couple of weeks ago and am keeping them in the fridge. They are delicious but how long…..

    I’m here beany, I’m here!

Life is so busy these days… I can’t even get on Gone Raw as much as before. I come here once a week just read some posts… and barely have time to give my ‘2 cents’. But today I saw your post… and well, here I am.

Typically, non-dehydrated raw food lasts up to 4 (maybe 5 days) in the fridge. Certain recipes with Vitamin C, lemons, raw honey, vinegar (somewhat preserving food) will last longer, but I’m not sure how much longer!

The general rule is to go by taste. If it tastes fine, you’re probably fine. They do not last as long as dill pickles, I remember dill pickles lasting “forever”.

I’m still around… just not able to reply often… at least not yet. Maybe in a few months.
