Soaking almonds overnight or any 8hr period?

Since I always see to soak almonds “overnight”, is there something special that happens with the moon or other factor that makes soaking overnight preferable to any 8-10 hour period?

Nope, I don’t think so. You can soak during the day if you want. Just overnight is easy time going by I guess. :) That would be interesting if the moon did do something to the almonds though! If anyone knows any differently let us know! I normally put mine in the frig when they are soaking so I don’t think they get any “moon exposure”.:)
