dehydrator question

has anyone tried the thing where you put at 60 watt bulb in your oven and use that as a dehydrator? does it work well?

Hi Slosh-uh~ A fan is so important to circulate the heat/moisture, that I can’t imagine this would be too helpful for drying without critters growing on your product…

But I’m no expert, maybe someone else can be of more help!!!
