What is Bragg's? Substitutes?

An ingredient I always see in recipes that look extra yummy is Bragg’s. We don’t have that in Germany, I have no idea what it is. How could I replace it?

    It’s just a salty liquid that’s fermented I believe, you could always sub salt. I never use it.

    Nama Shoyu or soy sauce is the closest. You might be able to have Braggs shipped to you. It’s so way more delicious than soy sauce. It’s not a raw food BUT it is a living food. It’s made with a base of cooked soy that is then fermented for an amazing taste that’s very rich, beefy and salty. A dark miso (also not raw but live) mixed with water might do as a substitute too. A lot of people are afraid of soy but used in small amounts rather than whole meals it’s not a problem. People have been eating soy for a LONG time.     a raw alternative is to marinade mushrooms in raw oil, salt and garlic, for a few hours, or even overnight. The liquid you are left with is just like braggs, nama shoyu and soya sauce, and the mushrooms taste amazing too.

    i just learned about braggs and it concerns me because it is soy…isn’t soy, other than being bad for you in general, a big no no with raw foodists??
