turnips growing tops

I bought some turnips and put them in a green bag and forgot them when I was going thru my fruit I found them and they are growing tops. The tops are about five inches on one and about three inches long on the other, they are both growing roots.

Is it ok to let them grow and then eat the greens or should I just throw them away?

They have not been in the refrigerator and they were not organic.

I think it would be ok. I just bought some turnip greens a couple days ago and have been juicing them. I used to eat them steamed. I've never found any that were organic though so I don't use them very often. I wouldn't juice them without mixing with other things as they can be a bit bitter
