Storing raw agave nectar?

I just bought some raw agave nectar and I’m wondering if once it’s opened if it should be stored in the fridge or if it can stay out at room temp. I know honey can stay out and maple syrup needs to go in, but I have no idea what to do with agave. Thanks! :)
