I see the same glittery floaties. I believe I am seeing energy. David Wolfe talks of this on one of his YouTube vids.
I've been seeing those "little sparkles" my entire life (in blue and red, though.) I recently got glasses and I don't really see them as often unless I feel light headed.
Yeah, please get this checked out. As Suasoria said, it may indicate serious problems. For me it was the sign of a small hole in my retina, and that is something to keep track of in case it becomes larger, leads to detachment and blindness. Hope it's nothing, though.
I also think floaters and glitteries are different. I get the glitter when I'm light headed too.
Floaters are a bit more solid and less sparkly. In chinese medicine they are associated with the liver and can be a sign that we are detoxing or that we need to!

In the past........ Ive seen "floaters" Usually ... blackish and whitish.............. I HAVE seen meagadeth though!! LOL!!
But just "recently" last two weeks or so, eating more raw than usual........ and a few days ago.. IN THE SHOWER.....=S
I saw "glittery" "floaters.............. thought it was interesting, and Wierd............ but they were "different" than in the past.................................... In the past they were black and white and some times I felt "dizzy".
In the shower, I was having an NICE warm shower, after a LONG HARD week at work on my feet at LEAST 10 hrs a day in HOT heat, as a nurse..................... but these . "sparkles" in my shower...... were different...................... and I didnt feel "dizzy " as usual like when I see "floaters"....
hmmmmm............... would LOVE to hear MORE!!!
DeborahBee and birdpooped - thanks for great info. I just experienced it 3 days ago and it FREAKED me out. Never had them before. Looks like sand particles pouring towards you, or as other commenter said - cosmic rays. I still have it. The more i look into the same object, the faster they spin and become a bit larger - scary tho, like a swarm of flies because it gets darker. Should I be concerned and see doc, or get a good rest and stop playing Candy Crush 2 nights in a row with no sleep and food? Oh, beer too :\ I am serious...

ok so since 2012 sometimes when i step into the shower i see these fireworks/glittery lights all over..its the most beautiful thing and ic an still see everything behind it but i get a little light headed and lose my balance... i was at my eye doctor on monday and i asked her what this could be, she asked me a few questions and said this was a sign of MS - and now im in the process of getting diagnosed. please if you see eye changes, please go talk to eye doctor and your primary. change from a cold room to a hot shower is a classic sign of MS... like if your eyes change when you step into shower. after looking at all of the symptoms, i have every single one. and i was like the rest of you, thinking its energy, just a cool effect, being self aware and a higher consciousness... etc.... please please dont wait.
