I'm 19 years old, 5', 85 lb. female, no period. In march I went to the doctor, had a blood test, everything is good. This year I was working with a natropath, took a load of supplements and now thats done. This month I've gained 3 pounds by eating lots of cheese and pb (before going raw, yeah, I'm REALLY new) and when I ate this way I had a healthy appitite. Now, I've been 95% raw for 3 days and I'm never hungry! This is so funny because the one thing that was holding me back from being raw was because I thought "oh man, I will be starving all the time!" HA! I will have a small salad and a few dates and won't be hungry for 6 hours! Is this because the food I'm eating is more nutrient dense? I'm making myself eat when not hungry because I know its good for me and I can't stand to lose more weight. Help! What am I doing wrong!? By the way I just recently started consuming raw jersey cow milk from a local farmer to help gain weight. Here is what I usually eat in a day: banana, some frozen fruit, greens (kale, chard, spinach) smoothie, raw nut granola with dairy milk, lunch is a salad of different veggies like lettuce, spinach, beet, carrot, and avocodo with olive oil and vinegar, a few nuts and dates and fresh fruit, snack is a piece of fresh fruit, dinner is another salad, raw milk, and maybe a raw dessert. another snack more fresh fruit, another snack (leftover from non raw days) roasted peanut butter. There thats it, and keep in mind I don't eat much, these are small servings, but if i were to add everything up it would be about 10-12 servings of fruit and veg. Ok what do you have to say? By the way I know that a lot of raw foodists eat very simply and can live on very little, but I didn't think that would happen right away! I actually want my appetite back, its appealing, help me gain weight to. Thanks!

I appreciate your comment, thank you. I was deficient in zinc, but worked on that with my natropath and I'm now fine.
I'm not deficient in any vitamins thats for sure. I make a lot of smoothies also which is the same thing just with pulp. I am trying to eat sparing amounts of all different fat sources, nuts, dairy, avocodo, olives, coconut and other oils.
I never get hungry too. I think ive found that doing lots of dandilion in my salads has been helping gain more of an appetite. (nothing profound though). Im actually tempted to just fast for quite a while.
A liver flush might help.Lack of appetite can often be stones and chaff blocking the ducts and the gall bladder/liver. Ones appetite can return within a day or two after.
