fast digestion problem

hey again :) im raw for almost a week now, i got a very very fast digestion, ( dont know if it the right term for that)i eat something and then i feel good, for example a kale smoothie. then i feel really good and energetic for like an hour and then i feel totally exhausted again like before i was eating raw... So do i just have to keep drinking Smoothies then lol, or i mean eating then a lot of times or is there a trick so i dont have to eat/ drink Smoothies every hour

  • What are you putting in your smoothies? Just fruit? Digestion time is rather short once eating a RAW food diet. Maybe try adding some avocado, spirulina, chia, various other additions that help keep you energized for longer periods of time.

  • I think this is something that will change as your body gets used to eating only raw food. You'll probably have to eat a lot of food for the first six months or so just to feel satisfied, though!

  • Part of that "eating all the time" thing is just adjusting to a new lifestyle. Your body is cleaning house and making room for a better food source for your cells. You may feel extra hungry/ crappy for the first phase of your new diet, which you can attribute largely to detoxing . There's a great website by a raw MD/ PHD if you would like to read more.
