Is this normal?

I’ve been eating raw for about 2 days now. Instead of feeling great like I’d hoped, I’m feeling a little down and the migraines seem to be getting worse. I feel like giving up but I keep telling myself that this is a phase and my body is adjusting. Please tell me this is true. And how long did it take your body to adjust?

  • Yea, I’ve read up on it. I guess I just wasn’t ready for it. Didn’t expect it to be this excruciating.

  • What were you eating before? I was eating mostly vegetarian before going raw, and even now I’m nowhere near 100% raw (not my goal). If you weren’t veg before, raw might be a shock. Depending on why you switched to raw, maybe consider a slower transition with only part of your diet coming from raw foods, gradually increasing the percentage.

  • I have been a vegetarian for about 4 months. I was going to gradually go to Vegan then Raw Vegan, but I’ve decided to skip a step. LOL. The first couple days were horrific. But it will be 1 week tomorrow and I’m syked that I made it this long. I feel so much better and can’t wait to lose some weight.
