Reputable source of dates

Hi everyone,

I use dates for sweetener. I’ve been getting them out of the bin at Whole Foods but I think I’d like to find a reputable source so that I know they weren’t dried at high temps. Any suggestions? I heard ‘thedatepeople’ are okay…

    Not that Whole Foods isn’t ever guilty of pulling a fast one on raw foodies but did you hear/read anywhere that their dates and any other fruits are dried at high temps?? I get dates there every week! ahhck

    The Date People’s website is http://www.datepeople.net/ but there isn’t really much on there… It’s best to contact them by phone at (760) 359-3211
    They’re great! Shipped all the way to Canada for me, in a wet pack so they stayed nice and fresh… I got barhi dates from them which were amazing.
