Sarma's maple syrup powder?

hey there! i have recently become infatuated with the Pure Food and Wine cookbook, as well as Sarma's most recent book...I think the title has something to do with Raw Life. anywho, i am in dire need of making one of her desserts, but the ones i would like to make most call for maple syrup powder. She says it's available on her One Lucky Duck website, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a substitute for the powder. I definitely know that our whole foods doesn't carry such a thing. peace and love!

    I use maple syrup (or agave) instead and just reduce the prescribed amount of liquid that goes into the dish. If you can't get lucuma, substitute with vanilla seeds or extract instead. Joyce is right, lucuma is not a substitute for maple syrup, it is a flavour.
