  • Just giving my experiences here. I am totally against the pill or any of the other hormone releasing forms of prevention. I feel it royally screwed up my body and that is one of the things that led me to the raw lifestyle (hmmm, so maybe it was a go…

  • I would say tile or wood! And I 2nd the cork and bamboo! Too much crap goes into carpet. I do believe that there are “natural” carpets out there but I’m sure those go for a bunch of pretty pennies.
  • Well I find that just about every restaurant out there has some sort of salad on the menu, I always bring my own dressing with me (in a small spice jar) if I’m out and about and have a feeling I may end up in a restaurant. As far as traveling… no bi…

  • Well I don’t have any details for you but I have always heard that the infrared ones are the good ones! Wish I could tell you why, but I really can’t remember, sorry!
  • I would have to agree with you pianissima about it being so easy to over-consume nuts. It makes sense that if we had to de-shell nuts and seeds by hand we probably would naturally consume WAY less. Never thought of it that way before great point of …
  • I agree I think we need a category for light recipes! Sometimes I want something new and exciting but I can’t handle all the heavyness of all the “exciting” recipes!
  • Interesting, I’ve been wanting to get a mandoline but wasn’t sure what to do. And I guess I still don’t know what to do! haha. Hopefully someone out there can give some more tips! I guess the big question is the V or straight blade?
  • Well what exactly is your fast consisting of? If you are indeed juice fasting then you need to cut out the smoothie and just stick to juice. But the bigger question is what are the ingredients to your smoothie because being that hungry only a half h…

  • One combo that I’ve fell in love with in my green smoothies is pineapple and cucumber (along with other fruits). But cucumber adds such a refreshing touch. Love it!
  • Well here goes another day! I was bad yesterday and snuck in some dates in between a smoothie… I just needed to chew something! And yes they hit the spot, I feel better now!
  • Luna blu – for colds I do a combo of lemon, honey, garlic, ginger, parsley, and basil blended all together with water. Sometimes it can be hard to get down, but it sure does kill whatever is brewing!
  • Well I ended up starting mine this evening! I’m feeling a little crabby LOL! Got done with my MC and all I want to do is CHEW… Oh well, I’ll stick it out for a few days! So what kind of green smoothies are you making??
  • The MC went pretty good. My head just wasn’t with it this time though. It’s been much easier in the past. I wanted to go longer but my mind is being a pain in the butt so I’m gonna do the green smoothies, maybe give it another go in a month or so! I…
  • I’m just finishing my MC and was gonna follow it up with a green smoothie fast! I’m thinking of starting it on Wed. I’m excited!
  • I agree, I like to start off with smoothies because it’s easy on the stomach and gets you going, you don’t feel weighed down or sluggish. Well I shouldn’t say I start with them, I first down a bottle of water, maybe some lemon juice… then it’s onto …

  • superkat92 – Yeah I’ll have to agree with you about it “keeping things moving”!! Seems like every time I get on the darn thing, I have to interupt for a bathroom break! LOL What the heck! Anyone else run into this prob? Or am I still in the “getting…
  • Well I got one that folds up so yes it would be perfect to slip under the bed when not in use. There seem to be alot out there that fold.
  • Well… I live on the 3rd floor… Not noisey… BUT it does shake the whole apartment! Maybe I would care more if the lady below me didn’t have a stupid kid that screams it’s head off at all hours of the day, but I don’t, so this is my payback! haha :-)
  • Thanks for posting those articles! Interesting stuff! Well my rebounder came today… I love it already! It’s crazy how so little bouncing can get you so worked up. Great addition to the collection :-)
  • Cool, I can’t wait!!! mham I got mine off Ebay, they have a bunch!
  • No rebounders out there??? Well, sky princess, I just bought one so I will let you know what I think of it!
  • Those mini trampolines. Hopping around on those is supposed to be really good for you.
  • I have a waring citrus juicer and I love it to death so I’m sure the blender must be pretty decent.
  • Hello fellow Washingtonian! I’m in the Tacoma area! Welcome! :-)
